To pay kind attention, on purpose, without grasping onto judgments,
to whatever arises in the mind from moment to moment.

THIS BIMONTHLY ONLINE CLINICAL SUPERVISION GROUP brings clinicians together to deepen their understanding of trauma-informed care and to create a safe, reflective forum for dialogue and collaborative learning. Trauma-informed care and practice is a promising framework for working with clients facing multiple, chronic, extreme adversities and traumas; clients who are often inaccurately labeled “treatment resistant,” “treatment -sabotaging,” and “disengaged.” Bringing together current research from the field of interpersonal neurobiology, trauma-informed practice is about dismantling our blockages when working with clients who seem profoundly stuck, by re-seeing their stories, beliefs, and behaviors from a fresh, more generous perspective.
Groups meet online twice a month on either Tuesdays or Thursdays, 4:00 – 5:30 pm. Group supervision is especially suited for CSWAs, LPC associates, and LMFT associates. Currently, there in one opening each in the Tuesday and Thursday group.
This winter we’re reading Pat DeYoung’s Understanding and Treating Chronic Shame: A Relational/Neurobiological Approach, applying interpersonal neurobiology and attachment research to therapeutic navigation of shame.
The cost for group supervisees is $45 per participant per session. To find out more information or to schedule an initial virtual interview at no cost, contact me here.
